HAKUBA galette

In Hakuba, we have a new popular dish, HAKUBA galette.
I tried them at a guesthouse called Tougara.(と~がらし).

Galette of prosciutto ~Basil flavor~

Its dough is crunch and sweet a little. It's good very much!
Actually beyond my expectation.
Cheese, prosciutto and vegetables are also good.

Galette of Hakuba pork ~Herb&salt flavor~

It's actually bigger than it looks!
Pork, potatoes and mushrooms are wrapped up inside.
It's well-balanced and healthy.

Salad and soup

It's tofu, not cheese. Even I was surprised!
Those tomatoes were very sweet.!

And a dessert galette

Soba (buckwheat) ice cream is on it.
Its combination with blueberry jam is wonderful!
I have finished soon.

The prices are reasonable.
Each dish is about 1,000 yen.
It would be 1,500 yen including desert.

HAKUBA galette is made from buckwheat flour from Hakuba,
and the ingredients are also from Hakuba as much as possible.
It's the concept.
And the people who make it are received the Hakuba crepier's authorization.

This pension's name is Togarashi means a red pepper.

The master serves one hot menu at the lunch and denner.
Why is the name a hot pepper?
Because it has also relation of means in Japanese for defference from another.
